The Louisiana Hudson Initiative helps small businesses gain greater access to state government purchasing and contracting opportunities. Benefits include additional evaluation points on RFPs and preferred vendor status for state purchases under $30,000.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Principal place of business in Louisiana
- Fewer than 50 full-time employees
- Average annual gross receipts not exceeding $5 million for non-construction and $10 million for construction.
- Independently owned and operated
- Owned by U.S. citizens or legal residents domiciled in Louisiana
