Livingston parish is comprised of several communities including Denham Springs (the parish’s largest city), as well as many culturally rich locations such as French Settlement and Maurepas. Livingston is located on I-12, minutes from Baton Rouge and only 45 minutes from New Orleans.

Within the parish in Walker, the Livingston Industrial Park and Lady of the Lake reside. The parish is also home to LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitation Wave Observatories) and Tickfaw State Park.
